Motivation, drive, hard work, determination, and ambition describe the story behind the opportunity and success of Shop To Earn and Shop to Earth members who attended last weekend’s Next Step training session in Miami, Florida.
The Top 20 Shop to Earn/Shop to Earth producers share their personal success with the company:
“Joining Shop To Earn was one of the top ten best days of my life.”
“Rewarding.”
“A gift.”
“Changed my family’s life.”
“I’ve discovered eco-friendly products I didn’t even know existed.”
“I was living check to check as a single mom and a teacher, then I started Shop to Earn and when most people are losing jobs and can’t pay their bills, I’ve discovered a new business opportunity that gives back in more ways than a paycheck.”
“And this is just the beginning,” says the Shop To Earn senior management team….
The Next Step theme showcased potential Shop To Earth retailers and offered business training tips for members. The event spanned over three days at the James L. Knight Center in Miami, FL.
Friday, saving the planet and sharing the wealth got off to a smart start with an expo for the top 100 Shop to Earn members to have a say in the company’s growth and product mix. Shop to Earn’s top producers reviewed new products that may be added as vendors for Shop To Earth in 2009.
The question and answer session with the top twenty earners was a true highlight as they had informative insight into how to make your e-commerce businesses flourish. The standing-room-only crowd left the Q/A session with motivation and the inspiration to “work their business!”
Saturday, attendees heard from some of Shop To Earth’s eco-friendly retailers, including Aquasana and Whole Food Farmacy. Both presentations were packed with valuable information on health, organic foods, and environmentally friendly living.
Shop To Earn’s Vice President of Sales, Joe Locke presented sales and marketing tips for growing the business and Shop To Earn’s Founder, Pat Welsh inspired the crowd with how to turn Shop to Earn into a thriving entrepreneurial opportunity of success.
Three lucky attendees walked away with $1000, $2500 and $5000 in ShopToEarth Sweepstakes Giveaways.
To close out the day, Shop To Earn capped off the night with some entertainment by the Dillon Dixon Band.
Sunday ended up being the emotional highlight of the weekend, which was filled with speakers, giveaways, announcements, and even tears. Speakers included True Green, a company helping to green the earth by eliminating deforestation and Be Healthy Club, a nutrition and natural healing company.
The day concluded with a Toyota Prius giveaway and the announcement of the Shop To Earth Foundation, which will provide charitable functions to organizations in the “green” industry.
Along with the announcement came The Shop To Earth Foundation’s first donation to Shop to Earn members, Bob and Joan Nast who run God’s Little Acres, a charity for disabled children in South Florida. After they shared their story with the crowd, Pat Welsh and Shop To Earn President, Dan Swiniarski made a donation of $5000 to help keep the charity on its feet. The audience was so moved by the story and Shop To Earn’s generosity that many members stood up and matched the $5000 donation. It was a touching day for everyone involved and everyone was moved to tears.
Overall, the event was a tremendous success and Shop To Earn/Shop To Earth couldn’t be more pleased with the turnout and member participation. Click here to see some of the Next Step event pictures and stay tuned for more information about future seminars.

We could use a couple of great testimonials from influentials (in addition to the ones on the site) like God's Little Acres and better yet Ed Begley Jr
